Dec 2009 saw the delivery of our new Kwikkraft 1022 Offshore Sedan to her very happy new owners. The build was in close collaboration with the customer, and loads of custom touches has produced a boat exceptionally suited to the lifestyle of the owners. Underfloor dive bottle & fishing rod holders
along with large storage lockers help with the hunter-gathering, while the sink, prep area & removable BBQ on the stern sort out the cooking. A king sized bed in the master cabin, along with 4 berths in the forward cabin will allow comfortable overnighters throughout the Marlborough Sounds where she stays.
Initial sea trials saw the performance exceeding the set criteria, the engine package (Volvo 370hp D6) pushing the almost 11m boat to over 32 knots in choppy seas. Designed by Scott Robson, the ride is extremely smooth, sure footed and dry.
All in all a fantastic addition the the KwikKraft family!

The Canadian customer was specific in his needs and thats what he got. Fully customised every step of the way, he received a highly capable sports fisher with lots of luxury! His first excursion after collecting the boat was 50 miles off the South Islands West coast after the amazing blue-fin tuna. He was very pleased with the sure handling in the sometimes wild conditions! Having lots of power always helps with the twin 350hp outboards, and together with the Robson hull you can't go wrong.
This boat will be in the South Island until early 2010 for viewing, before it heads up to the Bay of Islands in search of Marlin.
